🪞 Reflections And Thoughts.

Looking back and towards the future.

Hey everyone,

I really enjoy these newsletters as they give me an opportunity to sit down and reflect on the week just gone by and my journey as a whole.

I think it’s really important to reflect so you can recognise how far you have come and also evaluate what has worked and what hasn’t.

In recent weeks, unfortunately, my LinkedIn presence has dropped, and whilst I really wanted to get around to posting shorts on my Instagram, I have been able to because I haven’t been able to do the editing to a level I like. And I feel this links back to my previous newsletter regarding expectations and promises.

And I think both of these, and in particular the decreasing LinkedIn presence, have stalled the growth of this newsletter. Whilst open rates and readership have remained stable, I haven’t been able to grow at the same rate as before.

This is something I would like to get back to, so I have been considering ways in which I utilise it efficiently whilst managing university workloads. I also haven’t been able to entirely read new books or listen to many podcasts in particular.

On the other hand, I have had a plethora of opportunities come my way and have been able to fully embrace London life and settle well into my new course. And these are all massive positives. I have also been able to make the most of my time in London so far by meeting with old and plenty of new friends (plus converting virtual friendships into real-life meetups).

I have also successfully hit my revenue target in the recent month of (1k MRR), which I had set back in March when I started. Whilst I have had all these successes, which do balance out the negatives, depending on the lens you view them through, I miss not having the drive on LinkedIn and not having successfully started my short and long-form video content.

There is an element of revisiting what my aims and goals are and where I want to go with this next. I think this newsletter edition is truly an ask for advice, and what do you think, as readers, I should consider next? I have been considering a few things, and I am nearly done finalising them so should be rolling out soon (promise these are genuinely coming) but other things I am less sure about.

What do you think is the right call or direction to take?

Please do hit reply and let me know!

See you all next week!

Cheers,

Sanay
