🤌🏾 The 7-11-4 Method

Increase your visibility.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share Daniel Priestley’s 7-11-4 method for marketing.

I am still surprised at how few people know about this but it’s recently been cropping up on my LinkedIn feed so I thought it would be valuable for those looking to increase their business and / or visibility.

Simply, put the 7-11-4 rule is a combination of 3 separate research pieces on marketing and communication put together by Priestley in his book, Oversubscribed. To some extent it is also the same principle I used when I first started out on LinkedIn.

The rule is:

  • Try to clock 7 hours in in-person interactions.

  • It takes roughly 11 interactions for one to notice you (including social media content).

  • Try to do in this 4 different locations (includes digital and in-person footprint).

Whilst the same method isn’t quoted by other marketing ‘gurus’, Alex Hormozi (the next best after Priestley) talks similarly about ‘churning out as much content as possible’. Hope that’s helpful for budding entrepreneurs and I highly recommend reading Priestley’s books!

See you all next week!

Cheers,

Sanay
