🪞 Reflecting On The Year
Some thoughts.
Hey everyone,
I hope you have all been making the most of the festive season where possible!
I will try and keep this short as I appreciate everyone’s busy! I wanted to use this email mainly to thank everyone who has been reading this newsletter every week since I started back in February this year! I am so grateful that the newsletter has resonated with a lot of you and that you find some value in reading how a fellow solopreneur is doing on his journey!
I also wanted to point out that it’s a key time to reflect on how the year past has gone as we often forget to do this. And when we do reflect, we focus on the negatives rather than the wins because they are just easier to remember. This reflective process can also set you up well to target new goals in the new year!
I am doing this using my journal and a short piece I have penned is below:
‘The year has been great and there’s still a few days to go! I have grown to 1400 followers on LinkedIn and surprisingly the newsletter is doing well with a 58% open rate. The newsletter hasn’t grown recently but that is partly because I haven’t been able to commit to LinkedIn as much as I would have liked in recent months.’
A simple prompt to get you reflecting may be:
‘What are three wins from this year?’
You will be surprised at how far you have come this year - I definitely was!
See you all next week! And Happy New Year to all of you and your families!
Cheers,
Sanay
