💻 My Tech Stack

Everything you need to make £1k MRR.

Hey everyone,

Today, I am sharing the entire tech stack I have used to scale my newsletter from 0 readers and start making more than £1k MRR! I have had a few messages about this on LinkedIn for others starting their solopreneur journey and thought it would be valuable to all of you, too!

So, first up, we have Beehiiv! This is the newsletter platform I have been using for the past year, and it’s simply incredible. Most of the top newsletters worldwide are also beginning to use Beehiiv for its simplicity and incredible range of features. Learn more about Beehiiv by clicking the link below 👇

2024 is here. It’s time to transform your newsletter goals into reality with beehiiv

Born from the minds behind Morning Brew, beehiiv offers an intuitive, no-code platform that simplifies newsletter creation and website design. Equip yourself with advanced growth tools, monetization strategies, and analytics that matter.

Trusted by the world's leading newsletters, beehiiv is not only top-tier but also the most wallet-friendly option available.

And, even for those not necessarily looking to become creators, etc. Writing provides a great escape; you should have a personal newsletter chronicling your journey. We all have something to share and learn from one another.

Secondly, I use Notion for almost all of my day-to-day work in research, content management and notes from reading/podcasts! Apart from Apple Notes, it is still the best way of organising work. I use Apple Notes for more ‘jot-like’ moments and Notion for longer content.

I use Things 3 as my go-to to-do list app. The flexibility and ability to seamlessly manage tasks on Things 3 is cleaner than any other to-do app I have used so far! Plus, the iPhone widgets are excellent 🙂

I recommend getting Buffer for those looking to post creatively on social media - it has been simple to schedule my content when I have used multiple platforms! LinkedIn also has its own built-in post-scheduling system!

I have been trying to use Loom a lot more! I feel you can convey thoughts and opinions better as it allows you to also record yourself!

Finally, if you want an investing app, I recommend checking out Freetrade! 0% commissions and a lot more to offer, too! Plus the analytics they offer are incredible. As a beginner investor, Freetrade has been easy to understand and use - they also offer US stocks, etc., which is a great bonus.

Primarily, my growth has been fuelled by Beehiiv, Notion and Buffer. The other apps are additional, which I would recommend (apart from Freetrade) to make your workflow as seamless as possible. Top tip: use integrations where you can to make life easier!

See you all next week!

Cheers,

Sanay
P.S. No recs this week as I have been busy with university deadlines!
