🤷🏾‍♂️ Figuring Things Out or Not...

As you all know, I have been in a dilemma for the past few weeks.

I have been mulling things about this whole solopreneurship stuff, and I won’t lie; I have sometimes overthinked it to the point where it’s kept me working late into the night.

However, I have come to a conclusion finally.

And the truth is, it doesn’t really matter what I decide. I don’t need to have figured everything out - and this has been the feedback I have received from speaking to multiple people over the last few weeks when seeking advice. The truth is, no one truly has everything figured out anyway. Everyone is ‘winging’ it to one extent or the other, and those who ‘wing’ it better do better.

It’s fine for me to explore, try various things, and share those experiences with you.

The realisation of this over the past few days has had a profound impact. I now have the creative freedom to do things I want and share what I wish. I think the biggest thing to stick by is consistency. As long as I put out content in one form or another every week, I am taking small steps towards growing my personal brand and one-person biz online.

However, I think it’s possible to become better at ‘winging’ it over time, but that will only come with experience. A motto I choose to live by even more is to fail fast and often. Not having a clear direction could mean I don’t get anywhere at all, but that’s ok.

If you are in a similar rut or have debated the next steps, take it easy and give yourself room to explore things.

If someone told me when I started that there would be 70+ readers for my newsletter every week at one point, I would have laughed. It’s all about embracing the small wins and the journey.
